Dominique joined EPRA as CEO in 2017, moving from BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management where he held the CEO position for Luxembourg and Belgium. After working in a private bank followed by five years as a management consultant on large financial sector projects for KPMG Consulting, he joined Fortis Private Real Estate in 2004, where he was COO for international investment and fund management activities in Luxembourg, Belgium, The Netherlands and Spain until 2011, before moving with the company to the UK. He is a native French and Dutch speaker and fluent in English. He holds a Master in Business Administration from ICHEC Brussels and a European Master in Financial Analysis (CFA) from the Belgian Association of Financial Analysts.

Barney started his career as a General practice Surveyor training and practising in the Central London commercial property market in the 1990’s. More recently his career has been property data related working on projects including the roll out of energy performance certificates in the UK and as Chief Operating Officer in a Joint Venture Company with HomeTrack.

Matthew joined EPRA in 2013, moving from P3 Limited where he was Head of Investor Relations. After joining the Schroders graduate scheme, he qualified as a management accountant before joining SVG Capital as an investment analyst. Matthew gained extensive private markets and real estate business development experience at Cambridge Place Investment Management and Hermes GPE. He holds a French and Management BA (Hons) from King’s College London and is a fluent French speaker.

Hassan graduated with a LLB from Queen Mary, University of London and holds an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. He has 18 years of work experience in finance, ESG & strategy including 7 years in the listed real estate space.

Tobias is the Director of Public Affairs and responsible to give the stock listed real estate sector and EPRA's members a voice in the legislative processes across the EU. Before joining EPRA, Tobias worked for BASF, the largest chemical corporation globally, in the Government Relations office in Brussels, representing the company’s Innovation & Technology hub. As such, he was also member of the management committee of the European Association for Bioindustries, Europe's largest and most influential biotech industry group. Prior to that, Tobias worked as Parliamentary Advisor and Head of office for a Member of the European Parliament in the Legal Affairs, Budgetary Control and Social Affairs Committee, followed by a position as consultant for Public Affairs in several areas of EU policy-making. He holds a Bachelor (Hons) in Business Administration from Munich University of Applied Sciences and received a Master double-degree in European Studies from the Universities of Vienna and Krakow.

Roxana joined EPRA from EurActiv, where she was responsible for events and marketing. She is a graduate in European Union Law from Leiden University in the Netherlands and also has an academic background in Communication Studies and European Public Administration.

Serkan became a part of EPRA's Investor Outreach team in March 2019, bringing with him experience from The Bank of New York Mellon where he served as an Account Manager within the Broker-Dealer & Advisory Services division. His expertise was further recognized when he was chosen for the Brussels Talent Program in 2018. Before joining EPRA, he had notable stints at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Euroclear, taking on various client-centric roles across Brussels, Singapore, and London. Serkan is also advancing his education as an Executive MBA candidate for the Class of 2025 at ESCP Business School, in addition to holding a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Vesalius College.

Iskren has 8 years of EU association management and public affairs experience gained at Knowledge4Innovation and the European Parliament. Iskren holds a MA degree in European Affairs from Maastricht University and a graduate degree in International relations from Sofia University.

David joined EPRA in 2016. He has a background in financial markets within financial institutions mainly as analyst for fixed income and corporate finance. CFA charterholder. He is Economist and Professional in Finance from Universidad del Rosario (Colombia) and holds a joint Master degree in Quantitative Economics and Financial Engineering from Université Paris I Pantheón-Sorbonne (France) and Universitá Ca’Foscari di Venezia (Italy).

Before joining EPRA in December 2018, Dilek worked for DTZ and Cushman&Wakefield Turkey as head of research, providing consultancy services including IPO documents, market research, investment strategy, and due diligence reports for international developers, investors, funds and financial institutions. She completed her MSc and PhD degrees focusing on urban economics and real estate markets. She also worked as part-time lecturer in real estate market analysis and finance courses at various academic institutions. She has memberships in both academic and professional organizations, including a board member of ERES and also a member of European Research Group at ICSC.

Lourdes embarked on her professional journey with EPRA in 2019, joining the Indexes & Research team and initiating her path in the listed real estate industry . In 2023, she transitioned to the Sustainability team, furthering her commitment to driving impactful initiatives in the industry within EPRA. Prior to joining EPRA, Lourdes worked at Kartesia (Brussels), monitoring 2 debt portfolios, and at Banco Santander S.A. (Madrid), contributing to key European regulatory projects. She holds a Master's degree in Law alongside a Business Diploma from ICADE – Comillas Pontifical University.

Baris joined the EPRA’s Financial Reporting and Accounting team in June 2021. After he graduated with Honors from the HEC-ULg Management School in Belgium and obtained Master’s degree in Financial Analysis, Baris started his career at Deloitte Luxembourg as a Financial Auditor on the Real estate and Private Equity Markets. During his first year in Luxembourg, Baris also obtained his Certificate of the Formation complémentaire des candidats experts-comptables (Luxemburgish CPA). After 3 years in Luxembourg, he took part in the Global Deployment Program at Deloitte US and worked in their Philadelphia Office for another 2 years.

Jonathan joined EPRA’s Public Affairs team in March 2023 coming from an EU agency. As a barrister, he began his career at the Brussels bar in 2014. Following that, he spent several years in Central Europe, most notably in Hungary as a financial and legal advisor to real estate investors for over three years. He holds a Master’s degree in law from the Université catholique de Louvain and a postgraduate degree in European studies from the College of Europe where he focused on EU Public Affairs and Policies.

Jean-Marie is EU Policy Manager within EPRA. He is responsible for ESG and financial related policies. Before joining EPRA early 2024, Jean-Marie worked as a consultant for a compliance boutique firm and for the consultancy firm Lighthouse Europe, where he provided strategic counsel to a wide range of clients. Since the beginning of his career, Jean-Marie developed an expertise in assisting all kind of stakeholders both private and public to raise their awareness on specific topics such as green finance, ESG, and digital. He holds a L.LM from the Institute for European Studies of the Free University of Brussels (IEE-ULB) as well as a double degree in Law from the Friederich Alexander University (Germany) and the Université Rennes 1 (France). Jean-Marie is fluent in English, German and French.

Shaohong joined EPRA in 2014 after having worked as an image officer for an American oil and gas company, TD Williamson, and as a business travel agent for CarlsonWagonlit Travel. She holds a bachelor degree in tourism.

Giovanni joined EPRA's Index team in 2023. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from Grenoble École de Management. Prior to that, he graduated in Business Economics and Administration from Università degli Studi di Palermo.

Sissi first joined EPRA Hong Kong office in 2015, and relocated to Brussels in 2020. Prior to that, she worked as a service management specialist for Synnex Group. Sissi is from Mainland China and she received her master degree in science from the City University of Hong Kong.

Merlyn joined EPRA in November 2018. Prior to this, she worked as Customer Service Representative at Orega, having previously held the position of receptionist at the Hotel Best Western Royal Centre. Merlyn started her career as a hotel receptionist in Cuba after she graduated from Alberto Delgado tourism school at Villa Clara.

Aliénor joined EPRA in May 2022 after a successful tenure organizing events in the luxury hospitality sector. Her expertise lies in providing unparalleled customer service and event experiences in esteemed 5-star establishments spanning from Monaco (Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer) to Singapore (Grand Hyatt Singapore). After covid, fueled by an insatiable curiosity, Aliénor made the choice to channel her skills beyond the realm of hospitality by joining EPRA taking care of the events, as well as the communication part. Aliénor is equipped with a Master's degree in Luxury Brand Management from INSEEC, Paris (2016), completing a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Business Management from Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland (2013). She speaks French, English, has good notions of Portuguese and Spanish, and understands well Dutch and Italian.
